Young immigrants and refugees co-designing mental health and well-being solutions

The aim of this study is to build awareness and enhance the mental and well-being of newcomer youth in Manitoba. Newcomer youth (i.e., immigrant and refugee youth) will take part in interviews as well as create artwork of their choice (e.g., taking pictures, recording a short video, drawing, painting, dancing, writing a poem/song, or body mapping) that represent their understanding of mental health and well-being. They will also co-design mental health and well-being solutions. In addition to newcomer youth, we are recruiting parents of newcomer youth and service providers who work with newcomer youth.
